Compilence
Most AI deployments in regulated industries eventually hit the same wall: the model is capable, but the organisation cannot sign off on the output. Not because the answer is wrong — because they cannot prove it. Compilence exists to remove that wall. We built ARC — a compiler that takes any authoritative body of knowledge and turns it into a deterministic enforcement layer for AI inference. Regulations, clinical guidelines, legal statutes, internal policy, underwriting manuals, security frameworks — if it can be written down, ARC can compile it. Once compiled, every output the LLM produces is evaluated against the source in real time. Outputs are either authorised by a specific clause or rejected before they reach a decision. No hallucinations. No statistical confidence intervals. A complete, clause-level audit trail — produced at inference time, not reconstructed from logs. The result is AI that organisations can actually deploy — in financial services, insurance, healthcare, legal, pharma, government, and any workflow where the answer carries liability. We are early. The infrastructure layer for governed AI does not exist yet at scale — we are building it. ARC integrates with any LLM already in deployment, indexes a new regulatory domain in hours, and propagates updates automatically when the underlying rules change. No retraining. No re-engineering. For partners, it means a governance layer you can embed in your product. For enterprise buyers, it means AI decisions you can defend. For the market, it means the difference between AI that assists and AI that can be trusted with a consequential outcome. We are looking for the people who see that distinction and want to build around it.
